In this lecture, Professor Jović will address the following questions:
· The character of the transformation of the international order after thestart of the wars in Ukraine and Iran;
· Academic, professional and political discussions about character and thetransformations and ideas that appear in connection with this issue;
· The consequences of modern wars on the positioning of a number ofcountries – large and small – and the European Union,
· The position of international organizations, such as the United Nations,the European Union and NATO, and
· The impact of these processes on countries such as Croatia, andcountries in its immediate neighborhood (in the Western Balkans).
Before the lecture, a member of the Forum’s Governing Board,Professor Tvrtko Jakovina, will give a short presentation on theimportance and relevance of Budimir Lončar’s work in the contextof the topics covered by the lecture.
After the lecture, Amb. Božo Kovačević, a member of the Forum’sGoverning Board, will offer his views in the form of a discussion onthe presentation.
